Hi Everyone!
I'm looking around for a new knife. I really like the look and specs of the Bark river Bravo 1.5 but with the Canadian dollar being crap the price tag is a bit out of my reach. I currently have an Ontario Rat7 ( Quality has gone down hill; blank was barely sanded down leaving rough edges and marks from cutting) although I like the size I have grown to despise the finger choil on this knife.
I'm wondering what other options there are out there for a knife similar to the Bravo 1.5 but with a smaller price tag (200 cad or around 150usd taxes in). Something in a 5.5-6.5" blade with a simple edge (no recurves), NO FINGER CHOIL, under 1/4" thick, preferably a flat grind, carbon steel in a drop point configuration.
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Blatch
