Other Survival/Outdoors forums?

wss has the best info, most activity that ive found...
but as mentioned, bushcraft usa is a great forum
http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/index.php
many wss members are also members there.
i enjoy paleoplanet
http://paleoplanet69529.yuku.com/
more primitive type offerings there
read georgia outdoor news sometimes. not nearly as much activity as the other three
http://www.gon.com/
dedicated to the southeast usa area. lots of artifact hunting/identification and general hunting.
particularly bow hunting

Zombie Squad is a lot of fun to read through. It's not much of an outdoors board though. More like survival/SHTF with a major emphasis on zombie preparation.

I belong to zombie squad. They try(limited success) to avoid being a sci-fi & zombie forum. Some great info on disaster prep, good info on stealth camping. The posts by Woods Walker could fit right in here at W&SS.

All of the ones listed by everyone else....

Lots of reading on most them, little posting though.

I find BF to be the most ideal one for me when it comes to survival/bushcraft/knife stuff.

Graybeard is a great all around outdoors site that covers it all. Hunting, fishing, guns, archery, etc. I'm a moderator there for the catfishing forum, but I spend more time here, honestly.

The frugal forum is full of idiots, seems the sky is falling everyday but it never has...

Another thing about the frugal squirrel and arfcom is the emphasis on stockpiling. They're more into what you have than what you know.

I've been on all the forementioned except a couple I'll check out but none have held my attention long.

As an aside; I was a member of arfcom for a bit and aside from the specialty forums, I haven't known as much bigotry and racism on any other site as that one. A little ashamed to have ever been a member.
