How often do you guys break a hawk handle? This is just normal work, such chopping the firewood, hammering a stake in the ground etc.
I am wondering if I should order one or two extra for my trail hawk.
 
If your not gonna be throwing it, just order an extra one for just in case. But until I found Vectors hawks I was quite content with my wooden one, just make sure its a tight tight fit. Sanding the inside of the head as well as smoothing the wood down on the main one and the spare and your golden.
