This is the SS model. As the title says SS is for short and stout. The idea behind this design to make a very strong and compact knife. It has a convex edge and is very sharp. Here are the specs:

Hardness: 60-61 by Peter's
Finish: hand rubbed to 320...might be the last M4 I hand finish!
Handle material: Black G10 with red G10 liners, and carbon fiber dovetail bolsters.
Fasteners/tubing: Corby bolts and .375" titanium thong tube.
Sheath: leather pouch type with high belt loop....no handle poking the ole gut.
