No worries, your comments are keeping the thread alive, so not really a highjack at all. The copper handle version is basically the same knife as the Silver Otter after all. The all stainless version just requires a little less looking after.
I thought it was strange that Maserin coated their steel handled pen knife in copper, but I haven't given mine any attention other than oil in the joint. Like I say, it shines itself up just riding in my back pocket. But it isn't exposed to a real working enviornment....
