My father’s well used edc, a Western folder. He passed in ‘93, and it was put away until recently when I finally decided it was time to clean it up and sharpen it.
From what I remember growing up, he carried large lock backs, in his front left pocket (he was a leftie). I’m not sure the years this particular model was in production, but he carried it for many years, and was quite fond of it, so it's very special to me.
As it should be. That knife is most definitely deserving of being considered a treasure. Despite humble provenance, I would definitely hold that in highest regard as well...
M is for Manix2 cutting some Mozzarella for a caprese salad. Maybe not the best cheese slicing knife selection but, it did the job.
