I was all set up to use a knife I sold some time back, but with three Vipers already profferred today I'll change up and assert that V is for the Vanadis 8 blade of my Cheburkov Strizh. That also follows yesterday's Uddeholm as it's another of their fine steels, this one with a high, 8% Vanadium content and a hardness range of 60-64 making it their most abrasive resistant PM blade material.

V is also for variety, I think there aren't many knife/multitool company as prolific as Victorinox in terms of product line, there are probably thousands of knives/tools offered from the range of 58mm, 65mm, 74mm, 84mm, 85mm, 91mm, 93mm, 108mm, 111mm, 130mm, fixed blade, swisscard, kitchen knife, multitool, etc. Let alone there are more if we are counting vintage SAKs.

Well, I wanted to post a pic of my Shirogorov 111 in Vanadis 10. But with Hurricane Laura heading to where I live, didn’t have time to get any new pics taken. Plus, I was voluntold I had to be at the plant for hurricane duty . So, I have to be creative with the pics I’ve got.
