I is for the Arizona Ironwood scales on my Sage 4.

The Sage series features a different locking mechanism for each edition of the knife and pays homage to its designer. This model is in the style of and acknowledges Al Mar who popularized its front lock (contrasted to Buck's older back lock), but it was actually designed by machinist friends and co-workers Harvey McBurnette, Dick Dorough and W. T. Fuller for WT who had lost a hand in a treadmill accident and needed a knife he could operate without the benefit of having two.

J is for Jeweled clip, this one from possibly the worst knife I ever acquired--the Crawford-designed "The Natural" from CRKT--and basically couldn't give away as a throw-in in a bundle of AO knives (yeah we all have pasts we'd rather not remember) offered on the Exchange.

The clip is loose as I replaced it with a factory-supplied plain satin version when I still was somewhat infatuated with the knife. This 10.7 oz monster's lockbar has maxed-out and the blade has vertical play also attributable to a pivot hole seemingly overlarge for its axle. The knife now lives in the junk drawer at the Vermont cabin.
