I noticed this model before as is looks similar to F&F Bullnose. How strong is the back spring ?

You^ are welcome!
This one is just perfect too, centered blade and everything.
Although, the knife had some pocket lint in it??

Good stuff guys! Both nice soddies and that pocket lint was a little something extra special Andi sent you. I bet you didn't have any German pocket lint laying around right? Ya do now!

Hope you've hung onto that lint Rolf, always handy as tinder! Nice knife :)

Hi R-D :)

I´m really glad you like that knife. You sent me the Large Sodbuster with black synthetic handles. A big knife, really. It makes a good feel in hand and in the pocket. The F&F on that one is great. Well centered blade and a nice egde ... I really like that one! Thanks for sending me that great knife.

That Case is nice, and a good pic Andi

Andi is a real kind gentleman that is for sure! Your not too bad yourself either Unc ;)

Love that new red AG too :)

Looks great!

Do you know what balde steel, and what type of wood that is?

Ken... as far as I know from Otter, they use for their Mercator the carbon steel CX75 (or maybe C70), but I think they use CX75. About the wood, I have no idea - but the handles are great broad for longer working terms. I hope that helps a little

Thanks guys and my Nef.
I will try to find out what kind of wood this is. I really like it on this Soddie.

Thanks Andi.

I was just curious, don't go to any trouble on my account. All that matters is that it looks great. I really like the shade, and also like the grain lines.
You don't see many wood handled Soddies, thats for sure.
