Our Beloved Barb Has Passed

Having the privilege of meeting Barb & Chuck and spending time with them at BLADE, I consider them both as good friends. The moments that I will remember most are fond memories of the love and closeness that they shared together while spending time amongst us, and of Barb winning the title of "Mrs. Knife Wife 2007"...she really had fun with that. I also believe that she has left us with lessons worth learning, most notably that there is no greater wealth in this world than love, and to not go gentle into the dying light. She fought the good fight as hard as she could, and kept the Faith the whole time...and is now back Home where she will no longer be burdened by her illness...

Chuck, I feel your loss and share your grief. My thoughts & prayers are with you, and with yours & Barb's family. She is a great & kind soul, and I'm honored to know you both. If there's anything I can do, please don't hesitate to reach out, brother.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. -Ecclesiastes 1:9

To Barb-B-Q: Until we all meet again, Rest In Peace; and may all of your wishes be completed...and until we all meet again, you will be dearly missed.

Words are, arguably, the most important part of my stock in trade ... of my profession.

Right now, they seem weak and thin to me; a lean and sorry shadow to offer a man in pain.

Chuck, just remember all those times together. And carry on.

Chuck, i don't know you or Barb but I know everyone here loves you guys. I am so sorry for your loss. You guys are in my prayers....Be strong.

Chuck, Barb was a kind lady and will be sorely missed.:(

My deepest sympathies in your time of grief.:(

Chuck,, Barb will always be in my mind every time I pick up a sword, she was a true warrior,, to say the least,, I will never forget her at blade alst year,, when T bag set that doobie beside her,, man her face,,, she just laughed,, man, I will miss that,, Chuck. Be well my friend,, J

I Only met Barb once. It was at the first knob creek Ganzaa I ever went to. I found it interesting that women got into Busse's too as much as Barb did. My first trip to the trough was a rough one, and I did not expect to find the "aggressiveness" among my fellow HOGS as it was. Barb took me aside and explained to me the "ways of the Hog Trough" It was good to meet a fine woman. My prayers go out to her family..

I am not good enough with words to right anything deep and meaningful.
I met the two of you at Blade a couple times,I am good knowing a good soul when I encounter it and the two of you have good souls.Barb is in a good place free of all pain, sorrow and anguish. She is with friends and loved ones and awaiting others who have not made it yet.May peace be hers always.

I went to Blade 2 years ago not knowing a soul in the Busse community and had only been on the forums 6 months or so. I decided to dive in and go to Fogo,s and do the whole deal. MikeH introduced himself as soon as I walked in and then Chuck and Barb were right behind. I felt as if were coming to a reunion of people I had known forever. Barb you will be missed my dear!!!!!!!!!

Although I never got the opportunity to meet Barb in person, I'll never forget the first picture I saw of her here on the forums where she was weilding a Busse AK47. Classic! I'm sure she was a lot of fun to be around and I regret that I'll not get the opportunity to experience her charm and wit in person. Her presence here will be missed but not forgotten. Prayers and smoke from Texas to you and your family Chuck.

Sorry for your loss Chuck. Though I never met met Barb I know she was a very special person and will be sorely missed! God Bless you and your family!!

I am so sad to hear that. My thoughts are with you Chuck. The world has lost a kind, gentle soul.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Barb or even chatting with her, but I have read of many who did have the pleasure of meeting her who provided great praise of her. We should all aspire to be so well liked. Sorry to hear about the loss. Best wishes to Chuck and family.
