OUR NEWEST FORUM - Welcome to Cold Steel Knives!

Welcome Steve & CS!

It's good to finally have an official CS presence here. Now we can finally get all our CS questions answered straight from the horse's mouth.

"President Clinton learned there were 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado. Since Clinton was so upset with ranchers' protests over his grazing policies, he told U.S. Secretary of Interior Bruce Babbitt to fire half the cattle guards immediately. Before Babbitt could proceed with the President's wishes, Colorado representative Pat Schroeder intervened with a request that before any were fired, they would be given six months of retraining."

Welcome! I've been hoping for a Cold Steel forum here ever since I registered at Bladeforums, and at last it's here. Thanks for my current favorite, and daily carry, large (4") clip point plain Voyager! It replaced a much more expensive, much less effective knife from another famous manufacturer. Keep up the good work! Now how about offering more of your large knives with a satin finish. I don't like the icky black stuff on the recon tanto, recon scout, srk, peacekeeper, etc. Yes, I understand the reasons for the coating, but I live in Kansas, where am I going to get salt water for crying out loud? (in other words, corrosion is not a major issue for me).
