Here is a link to the pictures that we took this past weekend.Donna took a few with some of our forumite buddies that stopped by.Possum made her day when he brought her a belly button ring charm,it was a miniature pearl handled knife complete with file work, she will model it in a few days when the rain stops here.
My head is still swimming from all the excitment and all the people we meet so I am sorry but I don't remeber everybodys name (next time I will keep a note pad handy)

I would like to give my congratulations here to all who recieved there JS Stamps and MS Stamps this weekend,There were a bunch of fellow forumites that recieved there stamps and I really hate that I can't remeber everybody so I am not going to mention any and hurt someones feelings by forgetting them, please forgive me:o :footinmou :o

I had a really great time and I hope everyone else did also.
Hope you like these,
Bruce

Nice job on those pics. Beautiful work on the knives, I've been keeping up with your work through Ebbtide.

Bruce & Donna it was nice to meet both of you in person, you probably don't remember me, but I'm the guy that asked Bruce for a manicure. :D

Thanks for the well taken pictures. Gives me a better idea of who a couple of you are. Someday I hope to be there. Maybe next year I can save a few coins and just take the trip. Since it seems to only be a weekend, it shouldn't be too hard to arrange.

Real happy for both you and Bruce B.. Bruce is my hero, you know. Anyone that can make one of those damn pistol things is okay with me:).

Roger

Yes, nice pics!

What you guys can't see from the photos is that each of Bruce's arms are as big around as a normal man's leg!

You are an animal, B.E.

Great job of the photos and quick too. I have just been hasseling Dave Larsen and Guy Thomas to send me some pics. I see them in your set.

from the photos it appears to have been a big turnout. Do you have any numbers. Ie makers visitors through the door etc.

The last West Australian show was good but it was a cosy venure no where near the size of yours. It nice to see how you blokes do it your side of the world.
Thanks again for sharing.

Bruce: Who is that funning looking Redhead Guy from Maine in the last picture?????:D :D :D Oh!! That the VP of NECKA;) ;) ;)

Bruce,

Your knives look even better in person, keep up the good work!

Ebbtide,

He did a good job on Phil's manicure but the pink nail polish didn't match his shoes... <really ducking> :D

In case you're wondering, that Alien Baby really has been all over the world. Here's a travelogue of my friend Jeff VanderMeer's Alien Baby Project .

Jeff is a World Fantasy Award winning author, roughly the equivalent of a MS for fantasy writers. If you're a fantasy / sf reader follow links back to Jeff's site and you'll be in for a real treat...

Thanks to Donna for giving the Alien Baby a much-needed break from several hectic days at the Blade show... AB was as overwhelmed as the rest of us with all the exceptional work it saw and all the great people it met.

Dave

map miles for us was
over 1600 miles. :barf: but I'll do it again:D
thanks you guys..

Thanks for the pics Bruce!

Congrats to both Bruces for their JS and MS!

What an exhausting week! I wish that I could have gotten away from my booth to visit more. I'm very thankful that guys came over to say hello. Donna, of course is always a treat to see on the forums...but in real life....I turned into a babbling fool when I met her :). She is just a doll!

It was nice to personally meet Dave Larsen, Robert Hankins, Bruce Evans, Dan Gray, Ed Caffery, Ed Fowler, Stan Wilson...and so many many more folks.

What a great show!

Sincerely,
Rob

Definetly had a great time at the show. Bruce was a little suprised to see me since I wasn't really expecting to get to go. Fate sort of stepped in and it was great.
Much to my delight Bruce & Donna were kind enough to let me sit at their table for a while. Treated me like family "What a class act".
I promise to find a way to get out to there neck of the woods in the near future.
Bruce, forgive me---You guys need to know Donna's pics do not do this fine Lady justice. Bruce you lucky dog!
If you get the chance to go to the Blade show by all means do so.
This was my first and definetly won't be the last.
Met many great people and saw some truly awesome blades.
Bruce Evans work is outstanding expect him to become one of the heavy hitters:D
Robert Hankins

Man oh man I wish I could have been there. I'll be there next year if I have to quit this lousy job!

Great pics Bruce, looks like everyone had a great time, and congratulations on JS and to every one who received there MS or JS.

Now how bout a shot of your JS knives Bruce? ;)

I was really glad to see you all in person! I'm the guy that didn't reconize anyone but Donna.
Great knife display, too.
Lynn

Donna and myself had a great time meeting everybody ourselves.Heck Bob it was our pleasure to give you a place to rest your feet,We think of everybody here on the forums as family.I think Donna is a doll also, sometimes I am accused of marrying a Barbie doll that I get to dress up ((Now that is the only way for a grown man to play with doll's;) :D :D )
Donna thought that Ed Fowler was just a Great person and just loved all the attention she was getting from all you guys,Thanks for making her feal like part of the knife family.
Just recieved my pictures this weekend that Terrill took of my JS Knives so I will post them in a new thread.
Bruce

Bruce, Who's the fellow in the bottom picture with Donna thats sleeping? The caption hadn't come up yet? Did anyone mention to you that they thought it was a slower than normal year at the show? I know OKCA show was.....
