Hi all!

Few posts ago, we spoke about the interest of having a common terminology for the balisong techniques.
It's difficult (and maybe stupid) to decide a terminology alone, and to (try to) fix it.
I also think that for a technique, people may have different names... the richness of language.

So, I decided to dedicate a small database about that... a shared database where EVERYBODY can post his own term or his own definition for a term.
I call it "Lingo" and it's here :
http://www.balisong.net/en/lingo.php3

Feel free to share your own terminology with the community.

Guillaume

PS: there's also a glossary (for collecting terms...) based on the same interactive principle.

Hey G, Nice site.

Like the Shobo on your "beyond balisong" page. Any history on that?

it might be helpfull to adopt some terms from the world of extreme sports.

for example- 540 finger twirl with cheese just rolls off the tongue.

just a suggestion

Waktasz, of course *YOU* can.
This section is for everyone to add his own terminology. Go to the page and add your propositions!
We all build the terminology and I (neither someone else) won't judge any technique name.

We should start up a Murphys law page for Balisong's also. For example, there seems to be a direct connection between how many times someone cuts themselves in proportion to how much of a Balisong expert they claim to be. For example, the more they cut themselves and the more the blood flows, the more they claim "I know how to use this thing" and the more they claim to be an expert
