Our weekend in Minnesota

Man, I don't care much for heights. That picture of the people looking over the side made my palms sweat.:(:o:D
Looks like a neat place though, thanks for sharing.

Tell me about it! My wife, the one laying down peeking over, almost gave me a heart attack a couple times on that cliff! Worse than a dang kid!

Thanks for the pics, I have many great memories from good times on the North Shore from Duluth to Lutsen.

My wife is the same way. She makes fun of me relentlessly because I'm such a sissy with heights.:(;)

The north shore is Minnesotas piece of heaven.. The BWCA is pristine and beautiful. No motorized anything in the BWCA.. I got drawn for a moose tag 4 years ago in the BWCA. It is as close to Alaska as you can get, without the mountains.. One night I traveled the Gunflint trail 33 miles and saw 24 moose on the road. They like to hang out on the trail( which is a road) and lick the salt off the roads.. At night you cannot travel more than 20-30 mph in your car, for fear of hitting a moose.. Great pictures....BTW.. in winter when you travel the north shore by you will see 90% of the deer population in that area.. They stay down by the lake because it is sooo much warmer.

I'm actually not afraid of heights at all (was a ceiling installer for 20 years!) but... I am afraid of HER falling.... lol.... what would I do without her?
