Out Of Production Folders You Wish You Would've Purchased.

MOD Trident - I had one in the service and lost it on a hunt. I was able to track one down online, but they seem tough to find now. Blackhawk bought them out I believe, and outsourced them to Taiwan or China as the Pointman. The original was US made with 154 cm.

That's a real beaut, Brutus013! :thumbup::cool:

I'm kinda bummed that I missed the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder, m'self... :(

I was fortunate enough to get the ATR, original Manix and Spyderfly when they were still making them. Wish I had bought the Lil' Temperance though.

Kershaw Offset
Benchmade Skirmish
Benchmade Rukus
Benchmade AFCK
Benchmade 710 Olive Drab Ltd. Edition
Spyderco Terzuola Slip-it
Benchmade Rift (forum edition)

2009 BF Traditional Barlow.

The Kershaw Volt 3600 is also one that I would have jumped on but was late to the party. I did pick up a blem, and glad I did as it is a great knife!

I also would like to have a ZDP189 Kershaw Cyclone - but those are like hen's teeth. Can't get 'em all I guess!

ZT 0302, BF Rift.

Same here. I coulda waited a bit at the time, but opted to just jump on a 0301.

My list:
ZT 0302
Scott Cook Lochsa (not necessarily out of production, but getting an order seems very difficult at the time)

Strangely enough I used to have a Benchmade Rukus. No more. Though I now have a Microtech LCC, beadblast + Ti bolsters/carbon fiber.

I wanted a Rukus for years, just got a nice user earlier this month. With new hardware I cleaned up real nice, glad I finally scored one at an acceptable price.

I also ended up with a 301, after not finding a decent deal on a 302 for quite a while.

For me it would be the original Spyderco Lum Chinese with the green aluminum handles. The newer ones simply don't do it for me.

Lacota's folders. Too bad they went belly up. Great knives for very reasonable prices.

I really miss my Cuda Maxx 5.5. Had an ex gf sell mine on Ebay a few years ago while I was out of town. She sold it for a song and a dance...

All these mentions of Skirmish and Rukus made me break out the 3 old ones I have...

I have the new blackhawk pointman and it's a very solid knife. Not as good as the MOD version but the aus8 blade is a manageable steel and the liner lock is as thick as most American made liner locks I have from Benchmade or other companies. I like to carry it if I actually might use the blade as a tool because of how thick it is. Although posting this has made me want a MOD version haha
