Wow! Its nice to be missed! In fact, that is exactly what that dang bull elk said after I shot!!
7 point bull in the peep site. 30 yard shot. I had been at full draw for about 2 minutes and should have not shot. He was moving. Good news is, it was a clean miss.
That elk you smell sizzling must be from someone elses camp.
Later I got within 7 yards of a nice bull in my backyard but as luck would have it, and since I was carrying a bow, I never got a clear shot. :grumpy:
I was so upset I went in the backyard again to shoot me the first legal whitetail that came along. 3 misses later, all at the same buck, I am still eating beef!
Next time i leave the bow home and bring a grenade!
Oh yeah, mandatory knife content: The field test was a sucess. The knife did a wonderful job cutting my (beef) steak at camp...
