Yes or no answers please no complaining no spamming

I know this knife has bothered people here so if its that much of a problem lock it on the first spam

If that's the 'Croc Dundee' one, then sure, go for it.Looks fun to play with anyway.

no.

(too much $$ for what you're getting. if you're buying because you think it's AUstralian made, think again. it's made somewhere in asia by an asian company)

I'll confirm that it is Asian made.

Q: Where are your knives made?
A: We have a carefully selected production partner in Asia. The knife is almost 70% handcrafted by top professional bladesmiths.

Seems the name "Down Under Knives" is registered by a company in Finland, having their knives made in Asia.

I think for the cost there are better knives available. For slightly less money, you could get a Linder Crocodile Hunter knife that is German made:

No. Even though it has a differentially tempered blade i would not take a 440C blade for that kind of knife.

Asian is a minus for mie too.

but i think its a lil pricey... Linder has been mentioned or for that matter an old Western w49 or the Case Bowies would be what id get before the outback, ages ago gerber had an excellent bowie can still be found on the bay...
Is it the classic looking materials on this that are appealing? Or just the "wow" factor, size, weight??? Lotsa bowie choices for under 150 bucks some much cheaper...
Good luck with what ever you decide...

What mostly attracted me to the knife was the handle and all

Plus the sheath but mostly the handle , i have big knives and its not size

If you want a bad ass Bowie that won't let you down, find a Scrapyard Military Regulator for a lot less money.
