Who has an opinion about this knife?

Does it have a good liner lock?
Is it built well?... machining, grind lines etc..
And how about that pocket clip? Is it strong with all those holes in it?

How does it feel? Smooth? Gritty? etc..

Is there anything wrong with the overall design?

Thanks!

I got one about month and a half ago. It had a bum lock, so I sent it back. Outdoor Edge sent me another one that has a very solid lockup. The knife is a heavy solid knife that many will feel is too heavy for your everday carry. I personally like having a heavy duty knife in my pocket. The pocket clip is very sturdy. IMO for about 40 dollars (Zytel version), you can't go wrong. Tactical Knives did a cover story on the Magna and the Impulse in the July issue if you can get a copy.

I can't speak for the Impulse, but the Magna is outstanding in design and construction. It's a great knife for the money. It is not a lightweight and its not small.
