Outdoor knives

I have just finished a batch of these knives. 10 are on this sale thread for sale, I will pick them randomly. The finish on the blades is a working finish not a fine finish.
Spec:
4 1/4" aprox blade, flat ground, 1/8" thick, olive colour G10, stainless pins, all blades have a thicker main cutting edge and tapers to a finer edge.

Beautiful knives. Forgive my ignorance regarding D6 steel. I’ve searched D6 multiple times and cannot really come to any conclusions about D6 that relate to steel I’m familiar with. What is a comparable steel we see stateside ? Tough with poor edge retention? Great edge retention with poor toughness ? You make some nice knives .. thank you

Thanks for asking, perhaps it is a good idea to compare it to D2 here.

D2, 1.55% carbon, 11.5% chrome, 0.2% vanadium
D6 is 2.1% carbon, 11.5% chrome, between 0.78% and a maximum of 1.3% Tungsten(w)

It is heat-treated to 58RC, very good edge holding, These knives are ground and heat-treated to be great slicers in the field.

Hi there, I have to build one first as everyone who has taken one so far just wanted the knife. If you give me until mid next week I will build one and post pictures on here, it will be a sheath which will sit the knife 'deep' and it will have an integral cut for the belt to go through. I will post pictures in a few days time sir.
