Outdoor pants

The new craghopper nosilife stuff is pretty good. Not sure yet on how it handles ticks, but for mosquitoes it does the job. Worth looking into with zika and other badness happening. Of course they say right on the tag KEEP AWAY FROM FLAME.
So far I only have a pair of the convertable pants, but I really like them. a close fit, but the ones I have are regular, and I should have gotten a tall pair, so not sure if they would be baggier in the bigger fit. They are slimmer than my kiwi pair, which are a long fit, but move well enough for walking. Did four days sea kayaking with them, and was very happy with them.

The Patagonia Talus pants were the best ever. I've worn the same pair for climbing, hiking, skiing and paddling for almost twenty years! Glad I have a back-up pair for when (if) these ever give up.
