Do any or you know of, or recommend, an outdoor survival course with various levels, including beginner, where you could learn bushcraft skills?

I will definately 2nd that! The Wilderness Learning Center is the real deal. They know what their doing and exactly how to teach it. I just got back from the basic course, I will have pics up soon. If you have any questions shoot me an email.

Thanks. Let me know, please, when you post those pictures and, hopefully, descriptions of your experiences there.

I live down in Northern Florida, so the NC three day might be the better option. I assume it costs about half as much as the seven day. I have relatives in New York, too, though, so the seven day is not entirely out of the question either.

I am still downloading pics, but it should be up sometime tonight. There was a guy from Orlando in the class with me.

The N.C. trip will be a blast, you learn alot from this crew, but your gonna be overwhelmed with info in 3 days. The full week is great, and the hands on training is excellent. Besides the training, I think the food alone is worth the price. Aggie is an excellent cook!

If you are interested into a little more spiritual side of bushcraft. I would recommend Tom Brown Jr's school. Spent a month there this summer and really enjoyed myself.
