Outdoor/Survival Knife Choices Hell

Lots of good suggestions and knowing the type of terrain you're in would help as someone else said.

MY choices have been Fallkniven F1, Bark River Bravo 1, RAT (ESEE now) RC-5 and RC-4.

Depending on where I am and what I am doing, Colorado Rockies to Eastern woodlands drives what I bring.
 
The recon scout arrived today at work! I was beginning to give up hope it would come before the Easter break. Haven't taken it out of the box yet - didn't want to scare people at work. Preliminary inspections confirm this thing is a beast!

Now to start saving for an esee rc4. I'm not satisfied with my kabar usmc short.
 
I ave had a RAT-7 ffor more years than I can recall, I wouldn't trade it for a RC-6 or whateverthey call it today.

I would prefer the BK-7 to either of them.
