Broad, leaf shaped hunting, bush, and utility knife.

OAL is 8 inches, with a blade length of 3 7/8.

Steel is 15N20, 3/32 thick, dip quenched and differentially tempered.

Grind is convex, the scandi convex style is easy to maintain with a strop and sharpens well with sandpaper on a leather strop or with flat stones.

Spine and tang are blued to match the vinegar etched forge finish, and I have fileworked the thumbramp.

Handle is ipe, with brass tubing pins.

This is a "Little Big Knife" - it feels like a big knife in your hands, but has the dexterity for fine work of a small blade.

Sheath is by Koyote Girl- 6 ounce waterformed leather, double needle hand stitched on both seams. Stud closure makes this an impressively secure sheath for carrying on the trail or horseback. (mammal or iron horse, your pick)

I made every attempt to balance the rustic finish with a bit of polish and etching, while maintaining the visibility of the temper lines. The temper lines are going to fade as the knife is used, but one things I like about some of my finishes is that they get warmer and more attractive with use.

forge stamp is on the left hand side of the blade.

Sold!
