Way to go, slice! Duck donuts are truly a magical experience. And if you haven't been in the Nags Head woods, I recommend it for some accessible swamp time.

I can never make up my mind down there if I like the fishing, or the eating more.

Awesome pics (and good looking knife too). Glad to see you didn't drive your Jeep right on the shoreline. I visited years ago and we saw someone who got their truck buried in wet sand by the quickly rising tide. It comes up faster than people think.

I love the Outer Banks and have enjoyed good fishing from Pirate's Cove as well as fond landings at Manteo/Dare County Airport a.k.a. MQI.

Thanks Salty! I searched long and hard, gave up several times over a 2 year period then boom, this kinda popped up right place and time, got a great vibe from it on a back lot. The family has loved it. I plan on keeping it for a long, long time.

Hah! I got close, but I know better, and kept the tide chart handy. Never even deflated and she had no troubles at all. Tons of fun!
