As some of you may know I am Heather from CRK. I read a post (that now I can’t find) where a bunch of you were planning on visiting the booth at Blade Show. If you show up with your BF name displayed Chris will have a little something for you. If you let me know the day and time I’ll try to schedule Chris to be there.
See you at Blade!

Wow, hello! :) Thanks for all of your help from time to time. I've been very grateful for all the things you've done and how you (all) seem to be able to handle oddball requests, and I'm sure I have a lot of company here! :D

Thanks much -
John Newell

This reminds me of my first time at Blade last year. I do not remember the specifics but I remember having problems getting in the door. What is the procedure? Buy a pass at the front then go in? I seem to remember having to jump a couple of hurdles.

Yep, that was me who started that discussion about meeting at the CRK booth. Unfortunately, my Blade Show travel companion and roomie, Pete Conway ("Ouch" on the forums) passed away two weeks ago, and I just can't do it without him.

Maybe next year, as my 10-year-old Son would LOVE to go. I hope you guys have a blast!

Professor.

Hello Heather, I actually did not know this was you...:) Can't Thank You enough for all your help over the years and the countless emails I sent you...:D As well as your Quick Replies. Will be sending the sebenza in for unique machining asap. Many Thanks for all your help !!!

I so wish I could attend Blade and meet all you guys and gals.

Hello Heather, Nice to see you here in bladeforums, I just send my Sebenza 21 to Wicked Edge for Demo sharping, will post the video when I get it back, I had try to sharping the Sebenza with no luck with Lansky, your factory sharpening is the best I ever see, Hope the Wicked Edge can come close.

Hi Heather. Thanks for all your help. One day I hope to make it out there to meet all of you in person.

Sorry to hear that :( I wish his family and you all the best at this rough time.

@Professor; Sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences the the family.
It's pitty you won't be there, as I was curious to see you in real live. Maybe another time.

@Heather; Meeting Chris Reeve would be übercool, I hoped that Blade was a good opportunity.
I'll try to some kind of nametag to put my screen-name on.
BTW for me "a little something" could mean a photo with Chris at the booth.

Not in the cards for me this year Heather, but one day....one day.

You really need to stop by here more often. I think I speak for most of us in saying that we always enjoy a few words fresh from the "shop"

Indeed we do/would. :)

I really need to swing down to the show sometime. I'd love to be able to put a face with the names, and meeting the man himself would be icing on the cake for sure.

Dallas & Haze, thanks for the invite but after answering close to 200 emails a week regarding CRK I hope you'll understand why I don't post that often :)

I blame Tom (nyefmaker) for keeping you tied to the email machine! I'm certain that I NEVER, ever pester you guys, especially Anne, with questions about older Sebenzas or pricing or options or other little things that come to mind!

Seriously, thanks for all you do and I really do hope to meet the CRK team face to face one day.

I'd rather skip Blade and make a road trip out west to see CRK. Especially after watching the passaround video.

If you dont like the CRK Timeline, don't read it. Its there as a gift for those that do. I have gotten 100's of emails/PM with positive feedback pertaining to it. That info was compiled over several years from Anne. I collected CRK ( one piece ) for about 5 or 6 years before I even heard of any of the various knife forums.

As for emailing CRK, I dont that often. I sent about a dozen emails when I had my NCIS sebenza engraved about 2 years ago as I did not know what Lisa could or could not do. It was a learning experience for Heather and I both. Now I just email and ask if they will do a certain design.
