Worked great! I love the blade on that 11, however, the handle is a little short. The 16, on the other hand, has a great handle but about 3/4" too long. I'm thinking about something that rhymes with "Sidekick"....

Sorry that I'm late for the festivities! I'll note that the "k" was missing in "knew." The esteem belongs to "people," so it should be possessive. I also believe that commas are needed to define the parenthetical statement "on the other hand." I've been told that I use too many commas in my writing, but it was my ex-wife that told me that...so consider the source.

Great pics, dogs and adventure! Bannock seems like damper, a camp bread we used to make in Scouts. We made it with flour, salt and water, and cooked it in campfire ashes.

Yep! Flour, baking powder, salt, and water. I usually put dried fruit in for flavor, but this time a used syrup.

Just watch the dried fruit around the dogs, things like raisins are bad for them. We used to put in things like corned beef chunks, cheese or herbs to add flavour.

Yeah, but my Dad's old dog would completely strip the grape arbor and she was fine. I'm confident she won't kill herself with about ten raisins. I'll have to try Wild onions next time!
