I recently saw some of the Volunteer Knife products in the KnifeMaker's Market and contacted them about one of their Model 4s. They were very courteous, professional, and timely with comm, and they built me exactly what we discussed and shipped it in short order. The knife arrived ahead of schedule, everything was well packaged, there was a hand-written note along with a page with all the details associated with the knife, and they even included a few extras. The Model 4 in 3V w/textured G-10 handles is exactly what I wanted, the Kydex sheath fits like a glove with zero play, and the whole experience from start to finish screams quality. It will be some time before I can put the knife through its paces, but I am very pleased with my interactions with this company. I hope to see Volunteer Knife around for a long time to come. In case it matters, this is my first dealing with Volunteer, and I was neither offered nor did I receive any incentive to place a positive review.
