Overbuilt Flipper?

He also has a wharncliffe blade whats your point hes look for flippers

I see where he has also added a "Thumb-Hole" version to the El Patron line up.

I'd go with an El Patron. Of all the knives I've had over the years, it's my favorite. Perfect blend of toughness but still highly functional. Most of them have a convex blade which is very easy to maintain.

Unfortunately his order books are closed at the moment but you can usually find one second second hand if you are patient. He has a few dealers now as well. Standard for him now is the thumbhole but he offers a flipper version as well. His earlier knives came with thumbstuds or flippers but earlier this year he started phasing out the thumbstuds.

The Pohl Force Foxtrot One caught my attention recently. While not a flipper, it`s thumb plate gives quick & easy deployment, you could probably even wave it without much effort. I like the Wharnie-ish blade shape, and the whole knife appears to be a solid piece of kit....
