I think we should discuss the carrots issue more.

Well, it was a jello, usually cherry red with fruit cocktail , crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, bananas, marshmallows and yes shredded carrots in a bunt cake mold. The whipped cream was optional.
Like I said there was a lot going on in that fruit salad. Lol. It really wasn’t that bad but it took me awhile to get passed the carrots. I would use a fork to sift out the shredded carrots and a few other pieces I had concerns about.

Grandma was very insistent about shredded carrots as part of a good healthy desert. Lol. She had some other odd dishes that came from the depression, dust bowl era when they used everything and nothing went to waste. I won’t go into the head cheese cold cuts. Lol

I had one. Great knife. Wish I didn't sell/trade it.

Simple, good thumb ramp placement. And a great utility drop point blade.

I'd rather have a knife with damasteel and a knife with a copper shred cf. Together they are pretty busy. I like to highlight the special material or aspect of a blade. Cheers!

Shredded carrots! That explains why that handle reminds you of her salad. And really, shredded carrots would be great in fruit salad. Actually, grandma used to make jello with chopped pineapple and shredded carrots in it for us, and we loved it, so they seem to have a broad appeal.

Yes, it's such a shame, especially when the design could have been so much nicer, at least in my opinion.

I wish i remember the forumite who coined the phrase "dork ops" i think he had something there...

The phrase first appeared on Bladeforums on June 11, 2004.

It's a shame companies like DarkOps try to cash in during wartime by using military imagery and tactical mumbo-jumbo just to sell their felgercarb. Lame, truly lame. Knives for full on spec-ops combat. Oh, yeah! Hurry up you keyboard commandos, get yourselves a DORK-Ops knife. Please.
