Overlander; Folding Universal Camp Knife

That's nice a quick detach pin would be great....but what an awesome knife. 👋
yeah, I thought a lot of other options through and just couldn't think of anything more secure and also simpler. Doesn't mean it can't be done, of course, and I'm sure someone out there's figured it out. The sheath for this is integral to the system as well, and I did come up with some ideas about storing the components in the handle. Maybe one day I'll revisit it.

I agree, but this design he made is pretty much idiot proof.....Especially for some of today's mental midgets....😜
idiots are nothing new, they go back as far as the dawn of humanity. I'm 100% sure that I have some of that dna because it shows itself from time to time

I think the knife is unique and gorgeous. The pin idea is awesome imho. The sheath is beautiful and looks like much attention has been given to form and function. My only concern (for me personally) because I get dusty/dirty a lot in summer, would be getting debris in the pin threads. Very cool design all around.
