All SOLD OUT . Thanks again BF Members!

Ok BF'rs I had a request to do something in Titanium. So here they are. These are UC Last Ditch Dusters, 1/4" Bit Drivers and Bottle Openers. These are based on a design I have previously done called the 'Brewtal Bottle Opener. ' This run is made from 1/4" thick Titanium, 6Al-4V. That are cut as a rough batch via water jet, but all the rest is hand made and hand finished. The hopes are chamfered, finger holes trued, ground and smoothed edges, softened corners and then tumbled and final finished. These are available in Heat Colored, Tumbled Raw or Solid Colored via anodizing. They also have a small stainless split ring to attach easily to a keyring.
They also have a smaller finger hole than some of my earlier dusters, also per customer request. The hole is just under an inch diameter. I wear a size 12 ring, and they're a tight squeeze for me. But they do fit. If you have bigger hands than that let me know and I'll open the hole up a bit.
Otherwise I think pics work better than words...

These are ready to ship, just need a final finish of your choice which takes about an hour each so most get out same or next day. This time the materials were pricey, but I wanted to honor the requests to use Ti. I hope everyone likes it. They're for sale on my site, as well as here. BF'rs always get a discount and a day advance to purchase. Thank you all for supporting my business.

These are SOLD OUT shipped anywhere in the US, a couple of extra bucks get them anywhere in the world provided they're legal. (Non-BF price will be $45 plus shipping.)
As always, email me at
E.Lucy@gmx.com
with a finish preference and an email address to send a PayPal invoice to. Once the invoice is paid, they ship. To keep the cost down I send these in a small padded envelope, no tracking. But I will work with anyone who doesn't receive their order to make it right. I've only ever lost one package shipping this way, and that was a long time ago. But if you want tracking, let me know, it will be $2 extra shipping cost.

They don't come with a hex bit as of yet, but work with any 1/4" drive hex. As always know your local laws, as I can't know them all. Be responsible, safe and courteous. And please don't drink and drive.

I have about 20 of these right now and they are going up for general sale on my site starting tomorrow. As with all my others, once these are gone, they're gone. May see something similar, but I try to keep each new thing different than all the last.

If you post here you want one, or PM me it may take me a little bit to answer. Tapatalk doesn't always alert me. Email gets me right away.

Thanks for your interest!

If you emailed, or paid from off site, they are done and mostly already sent out. Please remember to provide me with an email address so I can get you an invoice. I am an LLC now, so I have to account for everything.
Please just PM or email though. I don't want to shove everyone else's items down the page.
Thanks!
Eric

Have about 15 not spoken for. Remember guys, paid takes place... Meaning: Sorry, but paid invoices ship, unpaid (unless I'm contacted for payment by money order etc) invoices get bumped for customers paying immediately. Sorry.

Also, if you email or PM and I don't answer I'm probably at work or in the shop. I will answer as soon as humanly possible. If you have an issue, as always, look up my website and call me...

Cheers!
Thanks again BF'rs and other friends!

What do you guys think of this?
I'm not sure what my thoughts are, but it is a chemical alteration to the heat oxide process. I can duplicate it pretty easily, but don't quite know what I think yet...

Money sent. If you catch mine, I like the new treatment, and would be fine to have it on mine.

Just received mine. Thanks for the fast shipping. It's awesome by the way. Showed a co worker and he wants one too. I directed him to your website so hopefully another buyer for you.

I have just a few left. If you've paid, it's shipped. Thanks again for the compliments and business.

I wanted to explain because I was asked a question again today that I get pretty often... How much work is done by me on these?

The raw blank is the only thing cut by a machine. To keep costs down and because I like everything to have a little character, from there on in it is all me. No jigs unless you want to count my drill press and chamfer bit a jig. All free ground and then tumbled. They are then hand sanded again around the edges and centers, hit with steel wool and colored if so chosen. Or tumbled in dry media and wiped down if so chosen. I hope the little differences in each one add to the custom feel.

I am not set up to etch or stamp each item at this time so I trust each customer to give credit where due. But, if you end up thinking it sucks, just say some special school with the short busses makes em for additional funding... J/k, all in good fun I swear...

Any suggestions are taken very seriously by the way. If there is a material that anyone wants to see used in some capacity, or a design idea, I will do my best to accommodate. These were born out of email requests for something similar to my original but in Ti. The brass ones I did had the same Genesis.

Cheers!
Eric

I think these are great. So many people making awful animal theme pocket tools/knucks that look terrible and impractical. This is a very streamlined, useful and cool looking design.

Can't wait for my next paycheck to get in to order one.

Hopefully there will be some left!

I have just a couple left at the moment. Will have 3 more from rough cuts tomorrow... But pretty much about out of this one...
Thanks to all who ordered. Hope they're getting there in good shape. Not that I don't trust our postal system.......

Have just a very few left. Was able to get a few more out of the leftover sheet of Ti. The new coloration on the three together above is quite involved. So for that I have to charge a little extra. But IMHO looks awesome....

Is the one on the left in the group of 3 still available if so how much?
Nice work man. been looking for a cool knuck key chain
but like others have said they either look "corny" or way too spendy for me I mean come on 200 for a small ti pry bar with some countersunk holes no way ..... but I think I might get me one of these on payday

Unfortunately all of those pictured are sold. But, I have them in unfinished form and can do it again... I sell them with an a buyer's request of finish so I wait until they're sold to anodize them. Some like the plain tumbled raw color. Most like some kind of anodization. These also have a stipple finish on the flats that helps prevent the anodization from wearing off or scratching too badly. One of these aged a little though looks awesome. The anodization that does wear off exposes raw 6Al-4V which turns a dark grey color.

These are about gone except for a very small batch going to Blade HQ for sale there. And I'll be honest with you I have no idea what their price will be but likely right in line with mine here... So may be able to grab them there. If not they have lots of stuff to blow a paycheck on... Ask me how I know...

I try to keep each design down to 30-50 pieces max. Then change up the material, design, etc. I also do specialized finishes within the run. These are mostly hand made too, (blank is cut out by a machine...) so I think all that helps keep them more custom and therefore more unique.

E.Lucy@gmx.com will get me directly and I check it often.

Thanks!

Thank you! That one is definitely one of my favorite colorations. I like em all, but the gold on that one was so deep...
More titanium stuff coming later this week actually... Can't wait to get them posted. I think they will be well received.
