I have a chance to get a knife I want pretty badly but the seller is overseas. Iv'e never ordered overseas but I know some sellers wont do it. Is it too big a risk? The knife is not cheap so if people have had a lot of bad experiences I dont think i'd do it. I'm not worried about the seller, he seems trustworthy. Are there safe way's to ship overseas? It would be from South Africa to Texas.

All my knives are shipped from overseas, have to or I wouldn't have them.
I've never had a problem, the caveat being - know your areas knife laws and your Customs import prohibitions.
