About 3 years ago there was a guy who owned a veneer mill that was going out of business. Whenever he really needed money, he would show up with a truck and trailer load of really cool wood. That is where this came from. I cut this into slabs about 3 years ago, stacked it in a storage container and forgot about it. Now I am looking everywhere to see if I can find more. I am not sure what type of walnut it is. Harder than Claro and doesn’t have the distinctive smell of English. Maybe some type of hybrid. Cool stuff with a nice metallic shimmer. I am so sure you will love this wood that it comes with a no questions asked, money back guarantee.

The photos for 294 & 295 are too dark. Actual coloring and shade are more like the other blocks. These were all cut from the same piece of burl.
