Not a knife, but I thought I would share it anyway.

Overstock.com offered free delivery by Christmas. It ain't here. I thought the FTC gave everyone enough of a butt kicking over this kind of thing a few years ago, so even though it sounded like an overly generous offer I went for it.

Weird, huh? Maybe it's a sign. I'll just stick to buying knives from now on. Nothing else ever works out.

Well, they might make it still. It was sent USPS, and if they used express mail that is delivered on Sundays, and the USPS website doesn't list the 25th as a holiday, even though Monday is.

Of course, I don't know how it's going to work out with a gift arriving in the afternoon. Too bad Overstock shipped a day later than they could have,

Well, almost 2 weeks later and I still don't have an e-mail they said they sent with a return shipping label. 2 requests, no e-mail.

I asked to have it e-mailed to a different address to make sure it's not an e-mail issue, and they won't do it.

No more shopping with these dorks.

It doesn't matter if it was a knife or not. I'm sure Bladeforums members will consider buying from Overstock.com and will find this thread.

Stop sharing. . . . .not knife related = lame BS !

Who whizzed in your Wheaties?

It's useful information whether it's knife related or not.

I ordered something for my wife's birthday from Overstock...3 weeks in advance. Should be enough in advance, right?

It finally arrived the Monday after her birthday (her birthday was a Saturday in early November = not a holiday shipping issue).

I won't order from them again unless I cannot avoid it.

There are specific sub-forums Bladeforums devoted to non-knife buying/selling, so it is obviously relevant.
