I am thinking of buying something from this site (not knife related) but the prices seem to good to be true...has anyone had experience with this company???

We've used them at least a half a dozen times with no problems what so ever. I'd say go for it.

I recently read an article about them that was extremely negative, but I'm unable to find it by googling. It apeared in either the Wall St Journal, or Businesss Yahoo, or some other investment publication.

The essence of the article was that they're developing a reputation for not being very well organized and often over-promise and under deliver. The CEO of the company has done himself (and his company) no favors with behavior that is at the very least, bizarre. That's probably not the the type of concrete customer experience you're looking for, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I guess I'd just tread carefully with "The Big O."

It's not one of those scam websites that take your money and run, but they aren't all that bright either. Customer service is robotic and out of touch with reality. But for a good price, human service is the first thing to expect to lose.
