after estelas post of his PSK I thought I'd post mine, just an overview of what's there and why.

*I plan on replacing the condom and milk bag with an oven bag after some tests of my own, and I'm going to replace the micro pur with very small dropper bottles from backpackinglight.com filled with aqua mira

I'm considering adding some needles to make spears, I keep a hank of aircore 2 or 550 cord in another pocket, as well as the AMK heatsheet sealed up in a foodsaver bag, and a large(35"x35") bandana.

this is in a Plana fly box, it is very compact, has rounded corners so it's pretty dang comfortable, it's light and is always in my pocket.
 
Looks like a very good kit, the only thing I would add is a small fishing kit, the line will wrap around something like the tape and take up very little room, and possibly a razor blade.
 
I would add a mini-bic lighter and piece of fatwood for redundancy.
Overall it's a good kit -- good job :thumbup:

Funny, mine says "PLANO".

I carry a VIC Rogue.

Some people say to carry a razor blade, some say a scalpel blade, others say a box knife blade. Just something small and sharp.
Carry what YOU can use.

You only have one means of fire starting... What if you drop that in the dark... your boned then :D

Through a peanut lighter or even a Bic!

EDIT: just so the lens... WHAT IF ITS OVERCAST! :p

that's my solution to the other fire making method, goes with my keys, which stay on me, tethered to a pocket.

and mine says PLANO too, that was a typo

Oh because on my neck i got a P-51, a stainless peanut lighter, and a red capsule exactly like that with a wick/Flint,and fuel.
 
that sounds pretty good, I don't carry fuel because I have had that lighter for about 6 months now and have only filled it once. So I don't see the need to carry extra fuel
