Ok, so this knife was given to me 25 years ago from a family member as a gift after my Eagle Scout ceremony. It appeared brand spanking new then, so assume I'm the original and only owner.
I don't know much about it other than I believe it was more or less a 'mid tech' or similar, but before that term existed. Obviously made by Owens Cutlery in Cutler Kentucky sometime before I recieved it. I tried to do some research and could not find a comparable make/model sold anywhere to go from. Owens Cutlery appears to only really offer general sharpening and repair services now but looks to have done a few handmade or hand assembled knives until at least the early 90's. I made a couple of calls and left a message but have not heard back from the only phone number I could find listed.

Comes with a box, and that's all I recieved when I got it. May have been a plastic baggy, not 100% sure. I have several extra knife sleeve type plastic baggies and will ship this in one.

The knife model type as indicated on the box is a 'Hillbilly Stockman' and is done in dyed blue pick bone. A Stockman to me usually means 3 blades of larger size, and that is what we have here. All fittings appear to be nickel silver, and the liners done in brass. There are fingerprints and dried oil in the photos as well as some small swirls on the polished parts. All of this would buff it easily, and I'll clean it up if buyer desires or leave as is. Either way. Otherwise the knife is brand new, never carried and never sharpened. Blades are tight and centered. Fit and finish is excellent. No gaps, no ridges and everything fits perfectly flush. Spring backs are tight and again, not a single raised edge, perfectly flush. Two position stop on all three blades with a strong spring for each.

Here is a combination picture. If more are desired, I can email the individual pics seen here as well as some extras. Please only serious inquiries for photos. I am very busy these days and just can't respond as quickly as I'd like if I recieve multiple requests.

As far as pricing goes. The only place I know to start is somewhere in the middle of my guess as to value and what I've been offered back when I wasn't interested in selling. And honestly, if I didn't already a whole bunch to pass on to the kids, I wouldn't be selling this one. But some of the personal collection needs to move to fund other more important things at the moment, so we are letting a few go here and there.

Asking $125 out the door, shipped US, tracked & insured via USPS priority mail. I will ship worldwide, add additional shipping cost to purchase price.
Contact me via email; eric@overmountain.us.com to purchase. I'm not getting notifications of convos/PM's here like I used to, but will try to check regularly.
This is not my PayPal email, I will provide that upon agreement to the buyer alone.

Reasonable offers will be considered, as would trades in my favor for modern knives we can move to local LEO/Security/Uniformed customers. Examples: Kershaw, ZT, Benchmade modern folders, autos, or flippers and the like. Worst thing I can say is no, so go ahead and ask if you have a reasonable trade. Prefer new or like new condition for trades. No users please.

For offers and trades: I will respond if interested, and will not respond if I am not. Don't take offense to it; again, just don't have time to respond to all emails and messages in the manner I would like. I also reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose, and have the knife available locally so if it sells I will note sold status on this listing. Timestamp of post/email or walk-in 'I' lol take it' takes priority.
Thanks for looking!
