I voted no also. BFC works great with the iPhone as is, assuming you have even a mediocre 3G connection. I guess I would need to be sold on what value added features an app would add and how it would distinguish itself from the countless mobile skins I've seen, most of which suck hard.

I'd rather see a mobile version of BF, which would require no app and be suitable for any mobile device.

That would probably be the easiest way.

Plus, I have a Blackberry, so an iPhone app wouldn't do me any good. :)

I do browse BF while waiting for my progeny at school, and a mobile flavor of BF with less data would load faster. Basically, just a link to "new posts" would do it for me.

I use an iPhone to check BF while at work. Apparently defence security standards have decided that looking at knife related sites will rot my mind or something so they block BF on the network.

Anyway, apart from that, I don't think I need an app for BF although I'd be happy to have a look at it once it's made, assuming it happens.

Tapatalk has developed an app for vBulletin which is free for Mobile Users. The only caveat is that their component has to be installed on the server and costs the site owner. It would be interesting too to know if they could handle a site the size of BFC.

I have a Google Android phone so I would feel left out :p. I think a solution for all mobile devices would be the better answer.

That being said I don't know what it would provide? I can read the forums fine on my phone so I guess the main advantage would be if the page loads faster. When I am roaming in the boonies it can get slow.

Another option would be to create a mobile only stylesheet layout. Similar to how Wikipedia looks completely different (and much more readable) on a mobile device then on a normal computer.

I just got an iPhone.. How do I post (upload) photos here?
Houston there is a problem.

Would love to see this accessible with Tapatalk. Looking on their site, they have versions for Android, Nokia S60, iPhone and Blackberry.
