I got this over 30 years ago at an outfitter store in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I used it a few times years ago to fell some pine trees. The handle is 20” , the axe and scabbard are made in Germany. The handle has a yellow non slip paint, that was a factory application and there when I bought this axe new. Overall in great condition, cutting edge excellent, never resharpened. Handle rock solid to the head and wood is perfect condition. No warping, handle is straight. This axe is not heavy at all, make a great pack axe.
