That is correct, but only because I can't seem to get a hold of boxes suitable for shipping. For prizes that fit inside envelopes I'll make an exception, I do have envelopes that are safe to mail in, but no boxes, and I'm still waiting on my delivery from USPS.

Also, before the question arises, yes, international shipping also requires that you send me a box with postage and papers, I will more than likely be at camp when this contest is over, so I won't have time to fill out the information.

If you can not obtain the papers for international shipping, then on a piece of paper inside the box, include everything I need to put on the papers, including what goes where. I don't mind filling it out, I just don't want to have people waiting longer than necessary for their packages.

I don't know what you mean by 'waiting on delivery from USPS', but you can go into any post office and get free Priority Mail boxes/envelopes, and you can order any size you need for free on the USPS website.

That is exactly what I mean. I already ordered boxes and such, they still haven't arrived. If they arrive before I get out to camp, I will change the SASE rule to match, but just in case, I want the expectation to be set. And my local post office is 20 minutes out of the way for everything, being as I don't have my own car, stopping in there normally is not an option, gas is expensive, even in a little Nissan Versa.

the boxes are at the post office though....wouldn't you be going to said post office to deliver the prize?

Again, hard to get out there, USPS does scheduled pick-ups for free, which is why I went and ordered their boxes, instead of going to get normal boxes to ship in with labels. That also means I can mail the prizes from camp, instead of waiting for the weekend to drop it off at the local PO there.

Every time I stop triple proof reading my posts, you guys go and fix them! By the way, why would I capitalize an entire word in the middle of a sentence if I'm not putting emphasis on it? Underline it maybe, not never capitalize.

How do we keep a thread labeled off topic on topic? If you want to post up your address we can get USPS to send you some free boxes.

I already ordered the boxes! Almost 2 weeks ago! Don't worry about the SASE right now, that will resolve itself when it gets to that point! What's sad is this thread is more popular than the actual contest!

I made this thread for (yes for questions, but also for) you guys to reference different comments and talk about how each quote came up, I like making people remember good times that sparked moments of true wit! Granted this is limited to May 2012, there are more than a few really witty things BeckerHeads (people in general, but BeckerHeads for this contest) have said that people forgot about 20 or 30 minutes after it was posted.
 
I still don't understand what the prizes are...homemade gear, Is this like duct tape wallets and para cord bracelets, or hand sewn leather goods.

The reason people are confused an asking questions is because nobody has had to ship a box to the person they won the contest from before lol. It's weird.
 
Homemade gear is whatever I can make, be it paracord bracelets and ranger bands, or $250 leather sheaths for the Remora, it will be what I can make with what I have. Along with a couple prizes relating directly to Beckers, but again, these prizes are not going to be announced unless the recipients choose to do so. As far as choosing the prize, it's going to be a "pick one of the X mystery curtains and decide if you want that or something else" type things, don't want to make it all that boring.

No pics, but it does shoot lasers and pour beer for you, also happens have a fold out car and a built in backpack.

What in the hell are you going to make it out of??? Hammer the gold yourself, and diamond stud it? :D C'mon dude, be real. You're going to make a $250 sheath for the Remora, and you can't afford postage? :rolleyes: I know you didn't say you were going to make that, but that's not a very good analogy.
