Oz Roosevelt thoughts?

Congrats to the customary batch of mythical lady collectors and questionable name havers who landed a sweet Rosie in tonight’s lotto. 😂

Pretty great designs.

Well, another week, another lotto, and still don't have an Oz :-) Anyone have an idea of how many folks are entering these lottos? Just curious what the odds are, if they're like 1 in 100,000 or so I may just stop even bothering to enter, the process of losing over and over gets draining.

The secondary market for these knives is nuts, IMO. They're hard to get a hold of, but at the same time, they aren't rare. There are more than a thousand of them out there, and dozens more are sold every week. They're not going to hold their value.

I don’t disagree, I already see them sitting on the forums here for long periods of time when priced above $1,000. I’ll pay retail price for one of these but I’m not willing to pay a penny above that. I don’t mind waiting this one out.

I keep entering too but havent had any luck. Not sure on the number entering but it must be a lot based on my lack of success. It seems like a lot of them get flipped immediately.

For the money, someone could commission a custom maker to make them something very similar I would think rather than play the ridiculous lottery game.

Same here for the lottos. Maybe I’ll get one, maybe not. It fits exactly what I want in an EDC. Thin, light, reverse flick, quality non-China construction, no flipper, versatile blade shape, interesting story. Ugh.

The fact that the 100% aftermarket premium goes to someone other than the makers bugs me.
Sounds like you want a TRM atom or neutron

I heard some entrepreneur is turning a photo of his Rosie into NFTs that will be 1K each. Each buyer will have a uniquely serial numbered photo that he can look at any time he wants. Not sure what they will sell for on the secondary.

My idea is to photograph a blank sheet of paper and sell NFTs of it for $400 each. Once I get rich I'll move to the Bahamas.

Sounds like a much better business model than ftx :)
