Ozark Trail Tan Flip knife

Don't know if yours still has it, but the last time I was at Walmart they had this Kershaw set with a spork tool and key chain on clearance for 6$.

Is using a knife with Bear Grylls on it a bad thing? Is it like admitting you like Justin Bieber?

Lol. Never owned a Bear Grylls knife. And Justin Bleeder fell off the stage again. I mean that's what my teen daughter said.

Not necessarily, but I had two of the Gerber BG compact multitool and they both broke in one week ( first broke screwdriver in half, returned it and second broke plier spring bar )
So I'll never buy another bear grills product again.

Haha a guy who says he works for Walmart said it was made out of old barrels. I guess that's not very good.

That was me, it was a joke. Didn't know my "bottom of the barrel" joke would be taken so literally.

The knives are made by a company in Hangzhou called Greatstar Tools. They also make Stanley tools and a lot of Home Depot and Lowes' private label stuff. Good company, good quality, especially compared to some of the others over there. I'm no longer at Walmart, moved over to Sam's Club.

Oh ok I thought it was like a recycling program or something, like how some stuff advertises that they are made from recycled materials. Thanks for the response to. It was pretty funny!

If a tool broke in a week that's a good reason not to want another.

It's certainly not a "great" knife but for the price is amazing. As long as you don't abuse it you'll be able to practice sharpening and EDC using for when you have a nicer blade's budget.

I've been carrying one of the Wally $3.97 tan knifes for a few months now. Its stays surprisingly sharp, all I've ever done is hit it a few licks with a butcher steel to get back a decent edge.
I have a drawer full of Bucks and Becker's which are lots better but for a beater it serves me well.

I'm assuming you're young... what sort of odd jobs do you do for cash?
