P.J. Tomes "Bullet Lockback"

Ebb, somehow I knew you'd find your way over being the Tomes aficionado that you are.

Looks like you got a nice surprise too Elliott. Congratulations on the nice knife and the thoughtful wife.:D

Thanks guys. This one carries real nicely and came with a very nice edge.
Definitely going to be a part of the regular rotation.

Elliott, you realize of course, that now you need one of these

by PJ to keep that folder company :D

Ebb,

That's sure a beauty. Bet you can do some nice slicing with that bad boy.

:D
Yessir and you'll be the envy of everyone in the barbershop, when you peel that apple.

Strange to say, I don't think I've ever felt the need to peel an apple.
'Course it would be a good way to get that patina going. ;)

...and another of P.J. Tomes' great "bullets" is on the way.

When I saw this beauty posted by Don Hanson earlier this afternoon, I couldn't resist grabbing it up and making a space for it alongside its big brother.

(I figured any knife good enough to meet Don's standards would be good enough for the likes of me. Plus, I used the phone call as an excuse to catch up on an old order for a little something down the road. ;))

This one is 3 3/8" closed and features 12C27 steel.

Like I said Elliott that's a nice one. I really like the way the blade tang fits the bolster. I get tired of looking at knives that the blade is to small for the frame.. Congrats on the pair...

Great catch amigo. Mr. Tomes's stag is always so rich and warm. That 12c27 steel is good stuff also. What a sweet lockback.

Best keep an eye on your pocket if Thomason comes sniffin' `round. :D
