Hello Everyone,
I have been playing with basic design stuff lately. I am working on three interpretations of the same basic fighter design. This is the Viking interp, so it is pattern-welded along the spine with a pretty simple handle. The maple on this handle is the prettiest I have ever had. There are no weld flaws, and it was all done by hand. There is 5 layers with two twists butt-welded to two more bars. The twist is 15n20 and 1080, the two mono bars are both 1080.
This knife has a thick spine and a powerful point. Imagine that you may want to use this as a last hope to thrust through leather or chain mail.
This is a really beautiful piece if you are into traditional styling (leather and maple and patter-welded spine the way the Celtic and Norse people did things).
I am asking $250.00 for this.
