I am selling my last Pabu knife. I received this in a trade with the son-in-law of "Pabu" himself, and I am now downsizing my collection. The knife is not marked, but I am 100% confident it is an actual Pabu knife, since I was able to meet the maker and his family last year in Oregon. Onto the knife...

It has been well taken care of and is used. I was told that the steel came from an old saw blade. The tang runs all the way to the base of the handle. The price has been dropped to $145 shipped and insured via USPS priority mail.

Shipping within the USA only. Paypal payments preferred. No trades at this time please.

Can you give more info about Pabu? Famous maker? Any info helpful to consider such a piece.

He is a Filipino-American who lives in Oregon. His specialty is probably bali-song knives, but he has a wide range. I got to meet him and his son-in-law. The son-in-law is who I got the knife from (as well as a nice brass and pearl handled bali-song). I believe these were personal knives that he did not intend to sell, but give as gifts, hence there is no marking. If I hadn't of met him in person, I would not be confident selling these as actual Pabu knives, but I shook his hand myself.
