I just received a brand new Pacific Salt SE. Excellent work knife that cuts like a chain saw!!
I was so impressed with the edge on this beast I had to share.
I took a receipt, super thin cheap paper, and push cut with every 'scallop' on the blade. It went through that paper almost silently! What a monster!!

It's a BEAST BB!!! BUT........get the SE! I have one in PE and H1 dulls quickly. H1 in SE will cut like a buzz saw for a long time!!
Just got this one from GP for like $80. Worth every dime!

My favorite of the Salts! The all black version is great, I love mine and the coating is more durable than I imagined.

Couldn't agree more WE!! Have a bunch of Spydies with that coating and it wears like iron!! Looks so bad ass too!!!

Best hard user Spyderco makes IMHO.

This thing is a beast Lance......but what surprised me was how incredibly screaming sharp this bad boy is!! Every single depression will push cut receipt paper easily and almost silently! Never seen that before!
Looks like I got a really good one too......perfectly centered, very smooth, flickable and locks up tight as a drum!
All for $80!! Pretty good deal!!

You won't regret it brother! Work horse extraordinaire!

Well I hope you dont have to return that part to Autozone. :D Nice knife and picture. After carrying the Tasman Salt at work for the last few days, I really want a pacific salt. A rust proof Endura, oh yea.

Congrats! The best value for dollar folder in the market out there, IMO

And I agree, whatever people say and it's appearance suggests, it's a true workhorse and working blade

Think Auto Zone might have a prob with the receipt???? [emoji1][emoji1]

Love those pics Peacent!!

IMHO: One of the best value in folders out there. I bought my first a few weeks ago. Now I own 3. They are that good. Even the large Pacific will disappear in your pocket. I am not a fan of the yellow, but the black! Dang it looks awesome. I can vouch: It will slice through a hotdog at the pool in seconds! ha!

I have one in my cart now. I have to sell off another knife before I can buy it, first. Lance has talked me into it.

One I am really interested in, also, is the Aqua Salt. It looks like a good all around knife.

Yes that is on my buy list in the near future, but I held off cause it is a tad hard to hide in your swim trunks at the public pool. One false move, and it would be the Pubic pool! But, I bet that thing would slay some wieners on a bun! Seriously, I can't decide what edge to get. The SpyderEdge is my all time favorite, but I admit the Plain edge slices through the big hot wienies better.

Wait a sec Mr Flair!!!! These aren't wienie cutters!!!

From a dude that has both edges in H1 ........go with SE!!! PE will dull after 2 wienies!!!!! And that is nowhere near enough!!!

HAHA! Funny wienie story: I had a accidental cut one day. I was slicing a big wienie and pushed too hard on the down stroke. I ended up slicing the SE right through the dog, bun, cardboard boat, and into the lounge chair! My bad!

OOOOOOOOPS!!!! Thank God the wiener wasn't on your lap while slicing!!
