Pacific Cutlery Bali

I bought a twin brother to my Pacific Cutlery Bali and they are identical except under the Bali stamp it says International Series. Also on the back it is dated 1985. Is there a quality difference?

I think you'll find the blade on the 1985 model to be ground by hand and the BM machine ground and polished......I can provide this link to a 1990 BM catalog and Sniperboy has, I think, a 1985 PC catalog posted somewhere on her sight. "International Series" was PC's attempt to compete with low-price imports using, well, low-price imports. Your International was not made by PC. It was imported. PC did attempt to impose some quality control on the project and these produces are pretty good.
