Pacific Cutlery (Benchmade)

Until I found this thread, I didn't realize the old Balisong/PCC was the forerunner of Benchmade.

Here's a Pacific Cutlery Corp. "Kuzan Oda Tanto" I bought in the early 1980's. I think I paid about $15 for it. It's the cheaper model with cast (aluminum?) handles. I used it extensively for digging divots out of the ground while metal-detecting for a year or so. It has rested in it's sheath for the last 10 years in my garage. What I find amazing about this knife is there's no rust.

I just surprised that this blade given by my employer's customer is in fact a rare one.
