This is a catch and release, really beautiful knife with amazing ergos but I'm not a PCC collector and I'm not going to use it...so it's up for grabs;).

I haven't been able to find much info on these beyond old A.C.K. listings, Stainless blade/nickel silver bolsters/brass liners and black linen Micarta scales.

It has a lot of hairline swirls (handling/storage marks), and some patina but it appears unused. The edge looks factory ground (even, and nicely thin BTE).

A.C.K seems to list these around $175 so I'll start there. Price includes priority shipping, and PayPal fees, $175 gets it to your door:).

Trade interests- Whittler patterns in premium stainless steel, unique lock/opening mechanisms, other interesting stuff :) Feel free to make an offer, I might just take you up on it :)

Nice find, I haven't seen one of these in years.
There were 3 sizes in this pattern plus he made a few with a gut hook.
Posting dimensions might help with your sale.
The patina should rub off the bolsters with a jeweler's cloth.
Good luck with your sale.

Lol, you're right...blade length is 3 1/8", 8" overall. I'm sure you're also correct about the patina, but for now I'll leave that choice to the potential buyer :)

Thanks,
~Chip

Sexy spine shot, fantastic in hand feel ;)

What's the blade steel on this?
I honestly don't know for sure...if I had to guess judging by the era I'd probably say 440C, but it's Seki made so it could be one of the other common Japanese steels of the time.

Might be AUS8...?
I have a couple still NIB, maybe they list the steel on the box.
Actually, I'm lying, I have one of each. ;-)
Will check tomorrow.

Still available:)

I'd also be interested in trades for traditional ethnic patterns...I've always wanted a navaja, or maybe a resolza or pattada. Possibly partial trade for a Douk-Douk XL...

Withdrawn.
