I have a Pacific Cutlery, model 760 Bushmaster knife.

I know that these were made back in the 80's, through about the mid 90's.

The blade is in perfect condition, and doesn't look like it's ever been used or sharpened.

The Sheath is still in great shape too. No box or papers.

My understanding is that this was designed by David Steele, and many of the knives, (particularly the earlier one's) were ground by Jody Samson.

Does anyone have any idea how to tell the approximate time period that my knife may have been produced? From what research that I've done, it looks like the earlier versions are worth quite a bit more than the later mid 90's versions. But, I have no idea how to determine the difference.

Is there any difference in the Bushmaster logo, or the Butterfly logo, that would indicate the approximate production date?

The first reference to the Bushmaster was in the 1988 Pacific Cutlery catalog, when the company was in Southern California. While I don't find the price at the time that's the timeframe you're seeking.
